I reviewed ChefGood earlier this year, discovering they had plenty of delicious menu options available. They scored very highly on both Taste and Quality of food with my rating system.
Now, they’ve shared some super exciting news with me – upcoming menus will contain meals created by special guest chefs. This brings with it the real potential to discover exciting meals that still have the convenience associated with prepared meals service.
Who are the Guest Chefs?
So far, ChefGood have announced 2 of their guest chefs – Pierrick Boyer and Reynold Poernomo. Both are superstar names in the culinary world.
I was honestly quite surprised they’ve been able to negotiate deals with such high profile experts, who have exceptional reputations here in Australia. If their other culinary exploits are any indication, the dishes they’ve created should be very delicious.
Pierrick (of Reverie in Melbourne) has curated a few unique/interesting menu items for a prepared meals service:
- Croque Monsiuer
- Croque Mushroom
- Vegan Cookie
Meanwhile, Reynold (of KOI in Sydney) has opted to curate a few main meals that are anything but ordinary:
- Chicken & Shiitake Meatballs in Red Curry sauce.
- Roasted Eggplants & Mushroom in Red Curry sauce.
I can’t say I’ve every tried a Chicken & Shiitake meatball, but I really want to!
